Today is Monday, July 16, 2007.  This morning we woke up at 6:15 a.m.!  Then we had breakfast a 7:00.  Then we started our day getting to know each other.  We made Venn diagrams with each other figuring out who everyone was.  After that we used calculators.  Later we had a snack, during our snack we estimated the perimeter of a pennant.  Then we started our tessellations.  We cut out index cards and started a pattern on a piece of paper.  Afterward we had lunch, I had a turkey sandwich.  That is all we have done so far on our first day of Math Camp.

Today is the second day of Math Camp.  Today we studied the Golden Ratio.  We also measured ourselves to see if we were golden.  I was golden once.  We also studied Fibonacci.  We went to the twelfth row in Pascal's triangle.  We looked at Algebra tiles, which I got pretty easily.  Then for lunch we had pizza from Pizza Hut.  Later we built Polyhedrons.  Tonight we go swimming.  I've made a lot of great new friends.  I really like it here, even if it is very cold in our rooms.

This is the third day of camp.  This afternoon we built a kite!  Mine is blue and yellow.  It's pretty!  We also looked into Fractal Geometry.  It's pretty cool.  Later we studied probability and statistics.  That was awesome.  After we had a snack we did codes and ciphers.  That was the best of all of them.  I've made a ton of friends here.  Tonight we are going to the pool.  Then we are going to have a movie night.  I like math camp.  And I've finally figured out how to make the room, slightly warmer.

Today is the last day to edit my page.  We played Mastermind this morning.  We also looked more into Pascal's Triangle.  Did you know the 12 days of Christmas has something to do with Pascal's Triangle?  We also did origami.  I'm not very good.  Tonight is karaoke night!  Yeah!  Tomorrow we go home.  Before we leave we still get to learn.  We get to learn about pentaminoes and tangrams.  I had a ton of fun here, and made many new friends.  I'm still excited to go home though.
