Hey! Right now it is around 2 o'clock (PM). This is my first day here. I am so excited! had a hard time going to sleep last night for two reasons. One of them being my room mate, Zoe, *sends evil glares*. Thanks to her I still have the Harry Potter Puppet Pals song stuck in my head! Anyway, today I learned about tessellations! Thank goodness for spell check! Did you know that you can make tessellations out of animals not just shapes. I also reviewed what I knew from school about Venn Diagrams. We used them in every class last year.The link that I'm gonna add takes you to a site that you can use to make your own tessellations. It's really cool. To bad the printer here won't print in color :<((((. We also learned about stories with holes. For example, (this was the first story that I heard) The man was afraid to come home because the guy in the mask was there, I'll tell you the answer tomorrow! Hi, well, It's yesterdays tomorrow so I'll tell you the answer to the story with holes.The man was afraid to go home because the man in the mask was there. For all you baseball fanatics you better start crying if you got this wrong. The man (man on first, man on second, etc.) was afraid to go home because the man in the mask (catcher from the other team) was there. Did you get it? I found the link for more stories with holes, I'll post it on later today. I learned about Pascal's Triangle. I didn't get it so I had to ask the other Kristen for help. That's so weird I have gone my whole life without meting another Kristen, so now I have to get used to it. We are the "Kristins!" I also learned about Fibonacci. I still don't understand it completely, but eventually I'll get it. How many books have you guys read in the summer, I know that it's supposed to be like none but I just finished my 20, at least I think. the Saturday that I get home I get to go to a party! Today we got to learn about Seirpinsky's Triangle! It got me really confused, but Kristen R ended up explaining it to me. I finally thought of my nickname, Kris. Ya know, it's really hard to come up with a nickname for Kristin. Anyway, I finally figured out how to add pics. Do you like my polyhedron? Today we made Tetrahedral Kites, go to kite building and it will show you what to do. Today, I'm especially tired because I was kept up till, like, 11:30. My roomate and I were having an ethics talk and it got kindof sad for me *cries*. My friend moved away in the middle of my 6th grade year *sob, sniffle, etc.* Anway, eventually I'll get over it. So, that's all for now, I'm getting writer's block, because I'm such a great writer (if you didn't catch that it was sarcasm).
