Today (July 16, 2007) We reviewed tessellations.
We also talked about Emilie du Chatelet. She was a famous woman mathematician. We learned about how to solve stories with holes. Stories with holes are like that they give you part of the story and then you have to ask questions to figure out the rest of the puzzles. But the trick is that you can only ask yes and no questions. Today there is going to be a guest speaker here to talk about polynomiagraphy.
Today (July 17, 2007) we learned about how to do algebra tiles. It was really hard and it did confuse me. I can't talk that much today because I really want to make a backround. So Bye!!!!!
Today (July 18, 2007) we made some really cool kites. We simply made it out of straws, string, and tissue paper. It was really cool. I had a lot if fun making them, and if you want to learn how to make them, you will have to check out my link called kite builder. I also did some geometry today. It was really fun.
Today (July 19, 2007), We learmed a whole lot. I rapped up the things that we had started and hopefully we finished them. We did the polynomiography contest, but I did not enter because I do not like polynomiography.Well gotta go! BYE!
