Today, we had 'stories with holes'. Candy would read a little bit and then we had to figure out what was going on. The first one was easy but the other two were harder.
We  talked about Emilie du Chatelet. She was a French mathematician.
Then, we got into groups of three or two and made Venn Diagrams. I was with Mina and Angelica.
We also had a little estimation contest. We had to estimate how many centimeters we thought the pennant was. I guessed 182 cm and I was right. Yea me!! So, now I get to take a purple pennant that says Western on it home.
We started making our tessellations today. Mine is a ghost.
Later, a guy is coming to talk about polynomiography.
We went bowling. My group was Mina, Briana, and Molly.

Today we learned about Sophie Geramain. She was a French Mathematician.
We did 'stories with holes' again. They were much harder today.
Then we talked about Fibbonacci and the Golden Ratio. After that we talked about Pascal's Triangle.
We had an estimation contest again today. I won, but since I won yesterday the prize went to the second place person, which was Alexandria. Then I got to pick a prize out of some other stuff. I picked the shirt.
We are going swimming later. Then tonight is Board Game Night.

Today's 'storie's with hole's' were much harder than the ones yesterday.
Today's estimation contest had to do with weight. I did not win this one. I was way off.
We also made kites today. There is a link on this page to our directions.
We colored in Seirpinski Triangle's and talked about codes and cipher's.
We are going swimming again later.

Today we talked about Grace Chisholm Young.
Today's 'stories with holes' were much harder than the past week's has been.
The estimation for today was how many pennies were in a jar. Zoe won and so she got $5 to spend at the bookstore today.
We also made origami box things. They look really neat. Zabrina had to help me some. Thanks Zabrina!!
Later today is Karaoke. But, I won't be here since I have to leave early.
Polynomiography is very very cool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a lot of fun here and I made a lot of friends. I hope to keep in touch with them!!
